Ibanez’ Advanced Acoustics range focuses on a difference body shape to deliver richer low-mid response, a lightweight feel, and a beautiful aesthetic to boot. The AAM50CE-OPN combines a unique Ibanez bracing & cutaway design with contemporary tonewoods for a totally fresh acoustic guitar experience.

Body & neck

Combining Ibanez’s Advanced Auditorium shape with a cutaway and scalloped X-M bracing, this instrument is designed to deliver slightly scooped mids, crystal-clear highs, and a richer low end compared to normal Auditorium guitars. Add tonewoods like a solid Sitka Spruce top, Sapele back & sides, Okoume neck, and Purpleheart fretboard to the mix, and you’ve got a well-rounded acoustic instrument that can handle any playing style.
