Description

The EWP12E is an EWP series acoustic-electric piccolo guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2023. It is made in China. It is also sold with a soft case as the EWP12EWB.

The EWP12E features a tenor-style EW shape with a soft Florentine cutaway and a laminated acacia top with black binding on acacia back and sides with an open pore finish. The round soundhole has an abalone rosette. It has an okoume neck with a 19-fret purpleheart fingerboard with black binding and maple dot position markers. Components include an ivory plastic saddle in a purpleheart bridge, a plastic nut and chrome die-cast tuning machines. Electronics consist of an undersaddle pickup connected to an AEQ-2U preamp powered by 2 coin cells and feeding a ¼” endpin output
