Description

The AE440 is an AE series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2022. It is part of the new Platinum Collection of the Advanced Acoustic series. It is produced in China.

The AE440 features an AE body with a Venetian cutaway constructed of a solid African mahogany top with standard X-M bracing on solid African mahogany sides and back with a low gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone and wooden rosette, soundhole binding and a clear plastic pickguard. It has an African mahogany and pau ferro Comfort Grip neck with a 20-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard with rounded edges, special wooden vine position markers and Luminlay side dots. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a scalloped Macassar ebony bridge with ebony bridge pins, a bone nut, and chrome die-cast tuning machines.
